When designing the new Sapphire, we utilized the stiff design chracteristics from our flagship DVO Diamond and created this trail monster. Don’t worry, we didn’t leave out the high performance internals DVO is known for. Trickling down from the Emerald and Diamond is the high & low speed compression, OTT “off the top”, and dynamic rebound adjust.
Why Sapphire?
The Sapphire is our latest and greatest trail fork. Specifically designed for weight-conscience riders who ride aggressive and don’t want to skimp on performance. The fork features all the same high performance adjustments and internals you’ve grown to love in all the DVO products. With high and low speed compression adjust, dynamic rebound adjust, and our exclusive OTT “Off the Top” adjustment, this fork won’t be leaving you wanting more. With a total weight of 1880g, This is on mean trail dominator.
Stiffest Chassis Ever
In the past, 32mm stanchions meant flexy, unpredictable, and “weight-weenie” only. We didn’t like that. That’s why the Sapphire has the stiffest and strongest chassis of any 32mm stanchion fork on the market. Compromising performance for weight is now a thing of the past.
27.5 Plus
The 29″ Sapphire is 100% plus bike capable. Throw a 27.5″ wheel and a 2.8 – 3.0 tyre on and enter the world of ultimate traction! Just make sure you have at least 6mm’s of clearance between the top of the tyre and the bottom of the arch. Just to be safe!

Quick Range Low Speed Compression – With a quick turn of the knob, the low speed circuit is restricted providing a nice platform for climbing.
High Speed Compression – 30 clicks of dynamic high speed compression adjust at your fingertips. Designed to be a usable range from start to finish, so go right ahead and max it out!
OTT “Off The Top” – This exclusive and proven DVO desaign brings comfort to a new level. By externally adjusting preload on the negative spring, you have 100% control over the initial part of the stroke. Set your air pressure to control your mi-stoke support and bottom out. Set your OTT to maximize comfort and traction.
Close Cartridge Bladder System – Just like the jade coil shock, the bladder is compressed rather than expanded, offering incredible small bump sensitivity and durability.
